The first thing you will need to do is LOGIN
to csFind-N-Replace (see screenshot to the right).
When you installed the script you
selected a username and password. Type that username and password into the
appropriate fields and click LOGIN to csFind-N-Replace to enter the script
management.
To reset the username and password refer to
the script
README file for instructions. Follow the same instructions used to
change the username and password to look up the username and password if you
happen to forget what they are.

you first login to csFind-N-Replace you are taken to the MANAGE page (see screenshot to
the right).There are ten primary

SEARCH THROUGH FILES WITH THESE EXTENSIONS
Specify the file extensions you wish to have the scriptand search
through. Separate each extension using a comma. You DO NOT need to add the "."
in the file extension.

The current working directory is the first directory that will be searched
through. You can change this directory by pressing the "Change Directory"
button. This willthe directory navigation tool. Select the directory you
want to set as the working directory and click the Set Directory button.
You can also use this tool to view the source of
files on the server. As you are cruising through the server you will see the
files listed with a "View Source" link next to it. Click this link toa
popup that will contain the source of the file.
INCLUDE SUBDIRECTORIES
Specify this option to allow the script to crawl the subdirectories that are
contained in the current working directory.
FIND WHAT
Use the text field to specify the block of text you wish to search for.
MATCH CASE
This will force the script to match edit only occurrences with matching cases.
REGULAR EXPRESSION
This option allows advanced users to specify Regular Expressions in the
search field. This extends the power of the script exponentially.
REPLACE WITH
This is the text field that will be used to replace the text specified in
the "Find What" field.
MAKE BACKUP
This will force the script to create backup files of all the files that are
modified. The files are copied as "filename.ext.bak"
TEST
Use this to "audit" the execution of the script. This DOES NOT actually edit
the files. You will still be presented with a full report of occerrences.
 SEARCH
REPORT
The search report indicated the number of files that were searched, it
specifies the number of occurrences that are present within these files. It
also specifies the total number of files that were edited.
The body of the report lists each file and occurrences within each file.
The files that have been edited are listed in the body first, followed by
the files that have been searched but not edited.
