The first thing you will need to do is LOGIN to csDynamic (see screenshot to the right).

When you installed the script you selected a username and password. Type that username and password into the appropriate fields and click LOGIN to csDynamic to enter the script management.

To change the username and password click the Change Password link and follow the instructions.

When you first login to csDynamic you are taken to the MANAGE page (see screenshot to the right).

There are many options to choose from:

By default the Group you created most recently will appear by default. To view other groups, simply change the selected group in the dropdown.

GROUP MANAGEMENT
There is a dropdown list that contains all the current categories. Select the category you wish to manage and click the appropriate link. You can also ADD NEW or CHANGE PASSWORD by clicking those links.

ADD NEW/EDIT GROUP CONFIGURATION

The ADD/EDIT CONFIGURATION feature is where you specify the group name and specify the frequency you wish the content to dynamically change. The various frequencies are as follows:

• RANDOM Every n. Days
  • Randomly rotates content on specified day interval.

Example: Rotate the content randomly every 3 days.

• SEQUENTIAL Every n. Days
  • Sequentially, in order listed, rotates content on specified day interval.

Example: Rotate the content sequentially every 7 days.

• BY MONTH
  • Allows you to set specific content to be displayed on specific months of the year.

Example: Specify content to be displayed on each month of the year. The content is displayed until new content is shown. So if you have January content specified and June content specified the January content will be shown until June.

• BY WEEKDAY
  • Allows you to set specific content to be displayed on specific weekday.

Example: Specify content to be displayed on each weekday. The content is displayed until new content is shown. So if you have Monday content specified and Wednesday content specified the Monday content will be shown until Wednesday.

• BY DAY
  • Allows you to set specific content to be displayed on specific days of the month.

Example: Specify content to be displayed on each day of the month. The content is displayed until new content is shown. So if you have Day 1 content specified and Day 22 content specified the Day 1 content will be shown until Day 22.

• BY DATE
  • Allows you to set specific content to be displayed on specific dates.

Example: Specify content to be displayed on a specific date. The content is displayed until new content is shown. So if you have 01/15/2003 content specified and 05/23/2003 content specified the 01/15/2003 content will be shown until 05/23/2003.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Under the LINKS WIZARD button you see the area used to list the content in the selected category. There is one main button and there are 3 columns visible:

• ADD CONTENT TO SELECTED GROUP
  This willthe ADD form screen (see screenshot to the right).
• ACTIONS
  • EDIT LINK
    Use this action tothe add/edit form and change values as desired.
  • DELETE LINK
    Use this to DELETE the content shown in that row. Once deleted it is gone forever.
  • VIEW LINK
    Use this to VIEW the content in a popup window.

LINKS WIZARD
This is used to capture the link code to show the links on your website (see screenshot to the right). Use the GRAB button to get the type of code you desire, use COPY to get the text into buffer. Thenyour favorite web editor and paste the code into your HTML document in the location you wish the LINKS LIST to appear.

• Category Dropdown
  Use this to select the desired category you wish to use.
• JavaScript Code
  Use the GRAB button to capture the JavaScript code.

Note: JavaScript include code is not crawled by the search engines.

• Server Side Include (SSI) Code
  Use the GRAB button to capture the SSI code.
• PHP Code
  Use the GRAB button to capture the PHP code.
